“There was once a man coming home from town about one o' clock in the night and he had to cross a fort.”

There was once a man coming home from town about one o' clock in the night and he had to cross a fort. He ran crossing the fort and heard footsteps running after and saying "Wait a while I want you" but he kept on running till he fell. Then he got more frightened
