  1. Long ago a beggar called into a house one day, shortly after a neighbour came in. "Who is he" said the beggar to the people of the house. "Well he was the gay man at Lios a Luinn fort last night riding on a white horse". The people of the house were astonished at what the beggar said, and it was true about the man being the owner of a white horse. He died a fortnight after.
    It is said that fairies went about as beggars long ago.
