    My townland is Gortnageer.
    My parish is Boyounagh and the barony is Ballymoe.
    There are fifteen houses in my townland but there were more long ago.
    There are seven slated and eight thatched ones.
    Glynn is the only common surname in our townland.
    There are two old aged pensioners here but they cannot tell stories in English but they can not in Irish.
    There are not any ruins around this place.
    The people do not get to America now-a-days.
    There is some good land and some bad land around here.
    There is only one small wood around here.
