journey. This man travelled a good deal of Falkirk (in Scotland) on foot. He spoke Irish fluently and could converse with the Highlander of Scotch-Gaelic fame.

Another good walker (still living) was Stephen Creamer - commonly known as "Staffey". He did the journey from Dublin to Dowra in 2 days - a distance of about 110 or 120 miles. He is still living - speaks a little Irish, and is a hale and hearty old-age Pensioner (80 years)
