  1. The Cobbler's Bush
On Kileen rock not for from Dromahair is a white thorn bush. A long long time ago a little man supposed to be a leprechaun used to sit under this bush cobbling his shoes and sewing his clothes and this is the reason it called the cobblers bush.
The people believed that if they could catch him he would give them money to let him go. When they used to try to catch him he used to point the needle or awl at them, but at last they surrounded him and caught him, and he showed them heaps of gold and heaps of silver and then they let him go and he disappeared out of their sight. When the leprechaun was gone the people ran to where they saw the heaps of money, but when they went as far as it the saw nothing but clay in the field and they were disappointed.
