  1. Festival Customs
    It is the custom in this district to clean and prepare the houses for Christmas. The houses are decorated with every kind of green shrubs. People who have friends and relations, it is an old custom to send Christmas cards with greetings and good wishes.
    To celebrate Christmas people send Christmas ''Boxes'' and presents to each other to show their (grett) greetings and good wishes.
    On Christmas Eve night it is the custom to leave candles burning in the windows. To show that if anyone who is wandering about having no home that he is welcome to our house.
    On Christmas day a great feast is celebrated in every house. Some people have turkey and Christmas pudding and others have goose for their dinner.
