- It is supposed that there is a pot of gold on the Island in Glenade Lake. It was placed there by a man and his son. They went out to the Island on a raf to bury the pot of gold. The man's wife who watching them from her house, saw the raft overturn and her husband and son drown. She became insane and all trace of the treasure is lost from that day to this.
