    Sore throats :- coarse salt heated on a pan, then placed in a sticking and put round the neck
    Sore ears :- Warm castor oil and put in the ear, then place cotton wool outside
    Headaches :- A cup of strong tea and some cloves in it
    Rheumatism :- Nettles rubbed on the effected joints also boiled and eaten
    Hiccough :- Take nine drops of water or hold in your breadth for a minute
    Teethaches :- Iodine rubbed on the gum kills the pain
    Pimples :- Take a cup of hot water each morning fasting
    Sore feet :- Wash them in salt and water each night and out boric powder in the stockings each morning
