  1. Corns :- Boiled ivy leaves rubbed on to the corns
    Warts :-Water found in a hole in a stone and rubbed on the warts, but a pin should be left in the hole and when the pin gets rusty the warts will go.
    Nerves :- Water cress eaten three times a day.
    Stomach doubles :- Three feeds of Indian stir about to be taken each day for nine days.
    Boils :- Fresh fat pork to be uses as a poultice
    Stys :- Ten gooseberry thorns to be pulled, the points of nine of them to be pressed gently against eh sty, and the tenth to be thrown away
    Burns :- Bread soda and soap rubbed on, prevents it from blistering
