    They wished the scene was o'er,
    While the cowardly bailiffs like demons,
    Attacked the roof and door
    But Saunder's men, they drove them back.
    With hatchets and sticks,
    It was a sorry scene indeed
    In the year of '86.

    The next was Father Fahey,
    Who could'nt see his people die,
    From hunger and Starvation
    To save them he did try.
    For doing this for six long months,
    He pined in Galway Jail
