  1. Once upon a time there lived a man in a small hut. He lived alone and was very poor. He was very rich one time but all his stock died. He had four cows but could never rear any calves. There was a fairy bush in the end of his land and he cut it down. After this great luck came on his stock.
One night all his stock disappeared. He went next morning and cut the bush again, when he had it just cut his stock came back.
After that he chould not leave the bush five minutes for fear any bad would come on it and his cattle would go.
