    the rim. She keeps the wool pulled and twisted until it is spun into thread, then she gets another roll and does the same, and so on until she has two balls made. Then she doubles them by pulling the thread on the spindle and twisting the rim the same way. Sometimes she dyes the thread before she knits the garment, othertimes she makes the garment first and dyes it afterwords. Christie Kennedy, Baher Bastle, described is the method used by his mother spinning, Below is a sketch of the spinning-wheel which his mother used.
