  1. Tobar Mairtín. 11-1-'38
Tobar Mairtín is a holy well situated about two hundred yards west of the village of Clarinbridge.
This well was supposed to have the power of curing children who were deformed.
It is said that there was a child cured there long ago. The child had never the use of his limbs and he was six or seven years of age.His mother took him to the well on three mornings and on the third morning he ran home cured before his mother.
