Co Galway - Herbs and their uses:-
(1)Yellow-Iris which is seen grown in marshy lands and along river banks and drains. This cures coughs, dyspepsia, tooth-aches, serpent bites. The juice forms the cure.
(2)Chicken-weed which is a green plant with many leaves it is seen grown in our gardens and potatoes fields. The leaves of the plant cures warts and pimples of every kind.
