- In the winter of 1921 a terrible flood arose by night in the village of Glenrevough. All the people were aware of it however but one man who was fast asleep. When he awoke he was surprised to find his house flooded.
He managed to get out and the only means he had of entering was to get a tub and to go down into it. He continued in this manner for a week until the flood abated.- Collector
