There is a fine Main Road connecting Howth with Dublin by which buses and trams run.
The Harbour Road extends from Howth Railway Station to the head of the east pier.
Church St runs from the Main St to Harbour Road.
A road known as the Back Road runs from Dunbow Hill round to the Main St.
The Main St extends from the bottom of Ballglass and Boreen through the centre of the town till it meets Abbey St and Church St.
Abbey St runs from the Harbour Road to the Main St and the bottom of Church St.
A new Road has been built called St Lawrence's Road which connects the Back Road with St Nessan's and forms a short cut.
