   When the farmers are planting potatoes they plough the land first. After that they harrow it, and then if it is lumpy they will roll it. Then the drills are made. They spread manure on the drills, after that they sow artificial manure on top of the other. The seed is dropped after that. The mixture of artificial manure to the acre is four curt of superphosphate, one curt and a half potash and one curt of sulphate of amonia. When the stalks of the potatoes are about four inches
