  1. I have heard many nice prayers and here are some of them.
    Here is a little prayer to say when dressing. - Dear Lord, thanks for giving me clothing." Here is a prayer when starting work. - "O my Lord help me to do my work right, and not to be idle and to do all I can to please you. You who is so good.
    When lighting the lamp say. - "God grant us the light of heaven."
    When you awake say. - Lord I thank thee for bringing me safe through the night. When going (go) on a journey say. - God make the road short in fornt of me. When going to bed at night say. - Jesus Dear the day is over, and I leave my labour light, and before I seek to slumber I've come to say a sweet Good Night.
    When you are at work say. - All for the O' Lord, O My Jesus All for Thee. When going into the church dip your hand in the holy water font and sprinkle it saying. -
