  1. Landlords of long ago.
    There lived in Binion about fifty years a landlord named Loughery. He was a big rough man and was very severe on the tenants. He'd make an appointment day whenever he pleased for paying rents. Any poor man or woman who failed to appear that day it was all the worse for him. The Landlord with his men went to their houses. threw the people to the streets even they were sick or disabled. They tore the roofs off their houses and destroyed the crops. Some people got refuge in neighbours houses or in barns or coves or even built houses with sods to shelter their children from the stormy winter nights.
    When Springtime came he did make all his tenants
