  1. On the 2nd of November falls all Souls day. Visits are made to the church for the Holy Souls.
In the evening the people make poundies. Then they start to clean the house. The floor is swept clean and a large blazing fire is put on. After this a row of chairs or stools are put round the fire.
A large plate of poundies is put on the table and a few spoons are left along with them. Before the people go to bed they leave the door unbolted. When they go to bed they leave a light lit in the room all night to give light to the holy souls. They come out and go into house.
