  2. If you want to see scenes that are lovely
If you want to see scenes that's worth while
Take a trip on the old Caledonia
Stop first at the Emerald Isle
One sight of its cliffs wild and lovely
Before ever you tread on its soil:
You'll see charms that no where are equalled
When you sail up the fair winding Foyle.
    II
When you sail up the Foyle towards Derry
Passed those hills and castles so grand
    The beautiful hills of Benevanue
    And the golden Magilligan sands
The green woods of old Ballykelly
Sights made grand by God's hand not by toil
On the deck of the proud Caledonia
You'll see both sides of the fair winding Foyle.
