    The moss-chirper stays in the mosses most of the time. It is a small brown bird. Its nest is found under a mossy bank. They lay about four eggs. The moss-chirpers nest is one of the cuckoo's nests for laying in. There eggs are like the cuckoo's only smaller. The moss-chirpers are not singing birds.
    The whin-grey is a grey bird. She has her nest in whin bushes. Her song is very like the canary's
    The corn-crake is a big bird with long legs. They are of a light brown colour. It is lovely to listen to the corn-crake among the hay on the ground. When they are calling they call "Crake, crake." Her eggs has brown spots on them. She lays about six eggs.
    The plover is a water bird. When they are flying passed us they call
