  2. One day Colmcille was going through Leophin and as he was passing by a field he saw a beggar asking the farmer for some corn for his donkey that was standing at the side of the road. The man hit the beggar a slap on the face and told him to go away out of his sight. After that the beggar walked away sadly. When Colmcille saw this he became angry so he went into the field to the farmer and scolded him and he said that there would never come a good crop of potatoes or corn of
