    In the sweet month of June where oft-times I wander.
    By your sweet-scented shore to take the fresh air.
    As I view those grand spires our Lord would admire.
    Along with my true love most lovely and fair.
    But O cruel England has doomed us to wander.
    Far over the Atlantic dear Eirn from thee.
    As they did with our sires in times of rebellion
    To find us pure vitality and free renounce bain
    Since beloved Robert Emmert his loss we will mourn
    He was taken a traitor for loving his land
    Like-wise noble Wolftone that hero of honour
    In defence of his country he nobly did stand
    Although I am far from you my dear native Eirn.
