  1. The supper I like best is beestings.
    When our cow calves Mother makes beestings for supper. She boils the first milk she draws from the cow after it calves until it becomes thick.
    To this she adds a pinch of salt. Mother must watch she does not stir the beestings any way but the one way or it would not thicken.
    If she started to stir anti-clock wise and then clock-wise the supper would be spoiled.
    A good bowl of beestings is a good night-cap.
