  2. The people long ago used to be twenty years and over it (f) before they would wear any shoes. It is usual for the children to go in the bare feet during the summer. It is not right to keep in the house at night feet water.
    There are shoemakers in every village round here. Shoemakers are more (plenty) plentiful now than they were long ago.
