  1. We have a churn at home. It is a dash churn. It is two and a half feet in height. And fourteen inches wide. It was made five years ago. We churn three times a week in Spring and Summer, and in Winter twice a week. It takes a half an hour to churn. The staff is usually worked up and down. The people know when the butter appears that the churning is done. The people lift the butter with a wooden scoop. The butter milk is given to
