On this page

  1. There are four forges in this parish at present two in Dunfanaghy McGarveys forge and Moore's and Robert Stuart of Cashelmore and Barney McGinley of Creeslough. They are descended from Smiths. The roofs of the forges are slated, the doors are oblong shape. The smiths shoe horses and donkeys.
    The smiths shoe cart wheels out in the open and he has two fires on the floors.
