One day a farmer was selling a horse and as animals used to go high prices in these days, the owner on getting the money brought the buyer and a few more men in to one of the tents drinking. Seemingly they drank too much and got drunk. There were rakes selling in the shop and the men began to quarrel and strike each other with the rakes. Ever since then that place is known as Rakestreet. When pigs are going high prices buyers go around to the houses and buy them.
