    so and immediately two little fairies were seen by all the children. They danced with joy about the fire. The youngest of the children was delighted but her sister brought her home. The father hearing of the fire decided to extinguish it before going to bed and went back again. He had smiled at the children's story of fairies but when he got to the fire and saw them himself he believed it. They disappeared when he put out the flames.
    This happened to a family named [Boriard?] in Gartan.
