- The Mullagh Bans are big rocks on the Kilmacreddan shore. One is standing yet and looks like a woman. This is the last place Mass was said, and is the last Mass Rock known. Most of the stones were used to make a slip for boats.
Mrs Walker a Protestant living beside the shore told Mrs Battles about Mass being read there.
It is beside the old graveyard at Kilmacreddan and also beside the old monastery.- Collector
