    around in bands and live in beautifully decorated caravans which also serves as their sleeping place.
    The best known of these "travellers" are the Crumlish family which most frequently visit our district. Most of these "travelling folk" usually come around for Harvest Fair in Ballyshannon which is a great event.
    Most of them are great story-tellers and all the local people of the district gather round to hear the news which they bring from different parts of Ireland.
