    There is a house between Passage and Woodstown which is now vacant because it was not given to its rightful owner. That owner was my grandmother's son Paddy.

    There as an old woman living in this house and she was very fond of my grandmothers family.
    She died a few days after she made her will and it was she left this house to my grandmother's eldest son Paddy.
    When the woman was buried the person who had charge of the house would not give it to Paddy as he was too young.
    It was only 2/6 a week.
    The first family that went in were the Ivery's and one night the woman of the house went to the door as she heard a knock.
    When she opened it she saw a fire from the end of the lawn to the door. she dropped dead when she
