  1. We have two landlords around this district, Mr Pratt and Mr Walsh. Mr Pratt was looked upon as a very good landlord. Evictions were carried on in Castlehill. The people were put out along the roads to starve. They went to foreign countries. When they were evicted the landlord took possession of the land. This land was handed down from father to son. It was divided into farms and it was subdivided by the Landcommission. Tithes were collected in this district in former times. they were collected by the landlords for the English Minister. The people did not like to be giving those tiths. After a while the English
