    picking the bill berries on Sunday evenings.
    Alt Bán: means the white bank. It is situated along the Letterbrick river. It always kept green even in the dept of winter. It never grew heather like the other parts of the mountain.
    Poll na n-eascú: means the eel hole. It is a solid rock in the river. The eels live six feet back in this rock. There is a hole in this rock about a foot wide. The youngsters used to gather there and have their long rods. They had great sport getting the eel's out of this hole probably twenty at a time would come out.
