- The time of the Penal Laws in Ireland long ago, there was an Old Chapel over at the foot of Tristia hill. There was a priest saying Mass in it. The foundation is there now. This old Chapel was in Pat Syron's land. It is only a quarter of a mile from my house. It is beyond St Patrick's well a small bit. There is an old bush growing up in the middle of this old Chapel now and this bush is in the shape of a cross.
