  1. Marriages in this place generally take place from the 6th January to Shrove Tuesday. The man that is getting married asks a man to go to a house and ask a girl. The man goes to the girl's house and they have a great feast all night. Then they settle about the fortune.
    The lucky days and unlucky days of the week are:
    "Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wednesday the worse day of all,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses,
    Saturday no luck at all
    Sunday the best day of all."
