    the door and sure enough she heard the fiddle playing. Next day again she went to the bog and she brought the child with her, As she was passing by a deep hole with water in it she threw the child into it.
    “Well you had luck” said the child, “Or you would be thrown in yourself”. It was one of the fairy men that took her own child and left a fairy child in his place, one day when she was in the bog.
    She had been minding the fairy child all the time and she never knew it, She never got back her own child again. She found the fairy’s fiddle in the cradle and when she played it she became a fairy herself.
