  1. There is a local forge in this parish. It is a thatched house with a small road leading into it. This forge is in Curroy and a lot of people go to it to get ploughs and harrows repaired.
    A lot of [sic] gets their shoes on also in this local forge. It is the nearest forge to us at present but there are two more forges in this parish also.
    One of them is in Clochans and another one of them in Knockmore. This forge has a “v” shaped roof and four chimneys.
