  1. There was once a man who had a hearse. When he was out late at night he had a place for resting at. There was nobody else living in that place.
    One night he went into his resting place. He ate his supper. When he had his supper eaten a man came in. He was dressed in black.
    The two men started playing cards. They kept playing until the hearse driver had no more money. Then he said he would raffle the hearse. He raffled the hearse and the stranger won that also. The hearse-driver kept raffling
