in the middle of the field where the treasure is supposed to be buried. It is imbedded in the soil. In shape it is rectangular it is much longer than it is broad it is not quite a yard long and about two feet broad. Within the last month a light was seen going from Crocán Ruaidh to the field. Tom Mchale and a few more men rolled away the stone that was in top of the flag and after that a man was seen digging round the treasure and people say that the treasure was removed from the field to Crocán Ruaidh.
