    and when the Puill na Cloiche ford sounds there is bad weather to come.
    There are three stoneheaps to be seen around here. There is one in Tamhrach in Thomas McHugh's land in memory of an old man who was going buried there and then he was brought and re-buried in the Cillín in Laragan. There is another stone heap in Ballymonnelly in Willie Gallagher's land in memory of Daniel Carey who died there while fishing in the river. There is another heap between Briska and Glencullen in memory of Patrick Ginty who died there in the year 1908.
