  1. Some of the people were fourteen years when they got boots. The people say that is is not right to throw out the water that you wash your feet in until morning.
    The boots used to be made in Bangor and in Glencastle and in Belmullet. The shoemakers were plentier that time than now. The people used to wear boots with wooden soles. Those boots were made in England.
