Down in Burren Rock near Burren hill there is a cave which is almost closed up now. It is said there is a big chest of gold in this cave.
One time a man went into it carrying a light in his hand and as soon as he entered the light was blown out. Two other men went in and they say they saw a big serpent around the chest with two big eyes and it threw them half a crown.
