    Lough Graney
    Long ago there was a well where Lough Graney is now and it is said that a woman named Graney went to it and forgot to cover it .It swept her from From Lough Graney and from that to Tuamgraney ,and from that to Derrygraney.

  2. Old school- games of long ago.
    Long ago the children used play games which were very different from nowadays .Some of these I will mention .
    Cabing -two boys would catch each other by the cabes and swing to see who would fall first.
    Capping- two boys would begin striking each other on the caps, and each one trying to protect themselves
