- Long ago there lived an old man in Keane's Pound. One night as he was going to bed he left a candle lighting. Then he fell asleep and the candle lit the house.
He felt the burning and he got up. He went removing some things and when he went in the second time he was caught inside and he was burned to death. The house was burned and also a dog that that was inside.
