to the next and so on until all the neighbours were done. Every evening after their day's work they would hold a dance and they would have a great time. The women wove the men's shirts and linen shirts. They were very coarse when woven. My grandmother had a few of them.

  2. There was a man who lived down at Cullies. His name was Peter Regan. He made creels, baskets, chairs and other things. Those articles were made of sally rods. When those rods were cut, they had to be soaked for a certain time. Then they were taken out and dried. They were then ready for use. He went with them to town and sold them on the street in town.

  3. Long ago my great Grandfather had a forge at the foot of our field. He made some lovely iron work by hand. The candleabra that was in Knockbride West chapel was made by him. He also made the nails that went in the doors of Knockbride East chapel. We have a couple of Iron gates that were made by him.
