- Long ago my great Grandfather had a forge at the foot of our field. He made some lovely iron work by hand. The candleabra that was in Knockbride West chapel was made by him. He also made the nails that went in the doors of Knockbride East chapel. We have a couple of Iron gates that were made by him.
