The O'Connors of Offaly were descended from Ros-Fáilighe, or Ros of the Kings, eldest son of Caher More, King of Ireland, about A.D.120.
They were called Hy Faily to distringuish them from other families of O'Connor, and gave the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
