    In the Penal days when the Priest's would have nowhere to hide themselves from the Priest hunters they used to hide in places called Priest's holes. The nearest Priests hole around is inside in the castle in Ballykilmurry. The hole is gone down slanting way in the ground and when the Priest's got in there they used to get something and barr it up against the door so that no one would get in. Some say they used to hide themselves down in the cave also.
